We are amazed to not only have been shortlisted into the top 5 out of all the entrants for the Southwest Counselling Service of the Year Award, but we have won it all together.
This year has been one of the hardest years we have all faced, at WAVES we worked hard to adapt and change to continue providing support to everyone in need of free counselling for domestic abuse. We are a service that has put everything into providing the best counselling service for all our clients across the whole of Cornwall.
We would like to thank all of our clients past and present, and everyone else who has helped us along the way, including funders, backers, and the many people who have donated to our service, you have all helped us improve and change over time to become what we are today and who we will be in the future.
Finally, we would like to give a huge thank you to all the volunteers and assessors at our project, they have and continue to give their time freely to use their learned counselling skills, their experience, their knowledge, to provide a fantastic, highly efficient, and life changing therapy to all those in need and we cannot thank you enough. This award goes to you all as much as to us as a service.
